Sorrow

The season came to an end and the Samurais were unable to take hold of the prize.

We can't express how sad we are about it. Expectations were high amongst the team and the fans as well. It's not sadness because of failing to beat YuyinxD, but because of letting down our beloved supporters.

Today the whole staff is having a close-doors gathering at the campus to have a thoughtful insight at last night's game and the whole season too. Words from coach Lambetain at the end of the match:

"Lads, you have been glorious tonight. More than any other night in this whole season. We all knew our rival aimed to trample over us, relentlessly forcing its way through our ranks. We proved that the Samurais fight to the end, with honor and with untainted pride above all. This was the last match of the season and the first one we lose, but don't let that bring you down my sacred warriors, that's exactly what it means: WE WON 13 OF THE 14 GAMES WE HAD. Isn't that something to be proud of? Isn't that worthy of happiness and isn't it a milestone in our road to glory?

You have poured heart, blood and soul into this game, into this club. That won't go unnoticed. You'll having a couple of weeks off now, you better enjoy them as much as you can, but the reward you have is not leisure, but the merit of nearly nailing a perfect season. Only the best can accomplish it, and you surely are the best. You'll all be in my team any day, any time.

Good work, keep it up."

There is nothing more to say. Next wednesday and friday we'll enable fans and club members to join us in activities side-to-side with some of the players.

Cheers and huge kudos to our fans for their endless burning passion for the club.

Unexpected arrival

We're very upset about the deeds of one of our scouts. We're not going to be openly public about it, but an unsupervised bid took place.

The team spirit decreased, a sensitive blow at this point of the tournament. There are very few matches ahead and "goal" means "gold" to us.

Wait for further news.

Team roster gets pumped up

We've finally come across a fine winger, finnish side-lane roadster Sami Sova. He got along with the rest of the crew pretty fine, specially bonding with his compatriot Sami Angeria.

Last night we played a friendly match against some random team. We crushed them against our odds.

Next sunday's game will be decisive. We'll see how training goes this week to set a lane to Sova and hopefully manage to brush the final strokes on the formation that will be clashing against YuyinxD at EOS.

Looking forward to...

Last night's match didn't see freshmen José Pérez under a bright light, but we do take into account that it was his first pro match and nervousness can be mischieving.

Sadly enough, Arthur "The Black Winger of Death" Werner suffered a nasty challenge. Caos midfielder Renato García bullied him a bit and Faccio gently intervened just to get ranted all over his face. He wouldn't let his teammate and best mate get trashed about and after a couple of chest tackles the rival's pawn got a grip and let it go. A couple of minutes later, after a terrific crossing which Faccio ended with a splendid scissor-kick, the earlier maul took its toll and Werner demanded a substitution realizing his left knee got sprained.

Now we're 7 goals under YuyinxD rather than the 8 we were last week.

On other issues, bidding for our required winger is nearly impossible. We'll see how end of season turns out. Nobody said aiming for the title was easy!

The club's expecting next match's income to pull the lever a bit; regarding next sunday match, coach Lambetain is expecting more of Pérez.

Debut

Newly promoted defender José Pérez will be making his debut tonight against Caos F.C at "la chatarrería" stadium.

We thought that people were kidding about the name of the arena, but that's the real name. Lame.

Well, regardless of that, we're really looking forward to see José in action, since he proved his worth at the youth academy.

Robertino Peñalva has been very eager to make his breakthrough into the main team, but we told him it's too soon to have him in the big leagues. He's got terrific potential and we're dead sure he's going to be the next Samurai star in our heaven.

The season is heading to its end, players are accomplishing great things, everything seems to be going great to this mighty warriors.

Stay tuned for more info!
