Promotion and beyond

First of all we'd like to address congratulations on the fierce Golden Little Masks and Harimau FC for their respective promotions. As for the Raging Aliens, we feel for the team; our support will never wane.

Now, when talking about the Samurais, lot of sports analysts have been making statements about the easy-going season we had. While part of this is true, it is also true that the team has improved in a gargantuan way; promotions from the youth squad and players trade have blown a breath of fresh air to the group and we are most satisfied about it.

We have earned promotion, but our road to glory is just getting started. The season ahead is extremely tough and it is now that our fans' support becomes paramount.

V.65 (33879) is a series that José Bandoleiro, the star anchorman in "ESPN Iberialísimo" (Spain's ESPN branch), states as the following: "V.65... I would call it "Hell's Boiling Room". It's one of the toughest and roughest series I have ever come across in my 29 years of sports journalism. The sheer thought of having such powerful teams with such appalling technique and strong leadership is the only thing necessary to propel a shuttle into space".

And we couldn't agree more.

That being said, Samurais' next match will be against "deportibo oriental" next thursday for the Cup.

Hope to see you all there!

Fiefdom secured

Hi there fans!

You might have been missing the club's reports, but rest assure the team is at its best shape ever.

Big news of the week was the overwhelming victory over GRACIELA last sunday with the scorer nearly bursting because of data overloading: 10-1! The Swiss-Knife Sylvester Altmann delivers true justice to his nickname, serving as proficiently in defensive as in attacking ranks; this match's hat-trick was his career's sixth! We are more than proud to have him on the team.

Riny van der Well and José Víctor Traverso have proven their offensive prowesses throughout the season, claiming 32 goals amongst the two, more than a third of the Samurais' goal count!

Our beloved Tomás Sténeri has landed a pretty decent deal with another team, and we are more than happy that he did.

The club is currently going through some facility upgrades and times are hectic when addressing the blog, but we are definitely improving not just for the club, but for our fans as well.

Cheers!
