Departures on Season 3

The club is going through an easy-going period at the moment. Certainly fans have been our main source of strength and passion, and the team trains hard each week looking forward to fulfill fans' expectations on the field every sunday.

That being said, changes are taking place. It is normal for clubs to lose and gain players, but we like to make it memorable in any of those circumstances. Today we are sad about two of our players leaving the team: Tomás Sténeri and Santiago Vonder Putten. They both have contributed to the team on their own fields. Tomás has always been the prankster, pulling jokes and shenanigans inside and outside the pitch, memorable moments being netting a red card for an opposing team by constantly teasing one of their strikers' buttocks from behind on corner kicks and inviting a hand tackle to the face; he also once performed a huge prank involving board members and mistresses, though that came out somewhat wrong and got suspended for a month. We all laughed regardless of that.

Santiago Vonder Putten has been one of the main scorers of Season 1 and 2, keeping 28 balls inside the net and nailing hattricks on 3 matches. It may not be amazing, but that's before we tell you he's got only 50 TSI. We know what you're thinking, and he may not be as skillful as it looks, but once he steps onto the field it's like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. A fine striker on his dusk, may he find a good team to end his career with. We're certainly going to miss him, but he and the Samurais have to move on. He's leaving with his chin up high, always keeping his katana sharp.

And last, but not least, we want to be straight with all accusations emerging in the media. Juan Pedro Gottdank was indeed summoned to be part of the first team but his controversial and disrespectul attitude clashed against the responsibilities and values needed to be enrolled on a major team. We didn't forsee this, being our feelings guided on how well he behaved on the youth squad and recommendations from coach's assistant Simón Morena. We had to let Juan Pedro go, not before logging him into another football academy.

Youth team has been performing extremely good lately, with a couple of players about to make it to the main squad any time from now.

Have a good week everyone!
